WHAT:
A 7 year old girl was raped and after a few days murdered in Allahabad.
WHERE:
The incident happened in a village called Sikahariha chatta, 50 kms away from the city of Allahabad.
WHEN:
The girl was abducted and murdered on the night of June 29th this year.
WHY:
The girl was raped by a 15 year old boy in the neighborhood 3 weeks ago.
After weeks of begging to the police of Mauaima police station, an FIR was finally filed on 26.6.16 .
The boy has been arrested and sent to juvenile prison.
The murder has reportedly happened to prevent the girl from testifying in the court.

HOW:
The girl was abducted at night when she was sleeping with her mother.
The girl was reportedly dragged by 5 people at the middle of the night.
When the mother couldn't find the girl, she cried for help and the people in the neighbourhood came for help.
The girl was eventually found dead in a field with injuries by the police.
WHO:
The uncle of the boy has been arrested.
The father of the boy is on the run with police squads set up to find him.
The mother of the boy is also suspected to have been part of this.

According to the reports, the police refused to hand over the body of the girl to the parents and tried to bury her themselves, which resulted in protests and police beating up the family members and supporters.
This claim is however refuted by the superintendent of police Mr.Rajesh Srivastava.
