Guns are a controversial topic some say it's essential for everyone to have one, and other say guns are destructive and immoral, but all of us have to agree that they are interesting.
What?
The world's smallest pistol is the Kolibri, made by a German watchmaker Franz Pfannl. He named the gun as Kolibri because it's German for "hummingbird".
When?
They were produced during the periods of 1910 till 1914. Thousands of these little guns were made before then World War-1 started.
How?
Kolibri weighs 8 ounces (65 g),
and has a 2.7 mm central cartridge. it's a semiautomatic weapon that has a six round magazine, each round fires a 3 ounce (28.3 g) bullet at a speed of 650 ft per second. Recoil was effectively nonexistent.
Why?
These weapons weren't lethal considering their size, but were usually bought as sort of a novelty. Although Kolibri was effective against stray dogs, people could scare away dogs easily without making much noice or having to carry an actual gun.
