Lybia is a country in North Africa, it was ruled by Gaddafi for 42 years, but his dictatorship though very freedom curtailing seemed to make the country prosperous in every other aspect. People could not tolerate his tyrannical ways any longer just because he was good at running the country, they revolted with the help nosey USA and won, but it proved to be a devastating development for Libya and Libyans as the country is in shackles now.
